Fast service and works great

Ordered on website, was at my door next day. They pick up the phone and answer questions. It is great to have good people a phone call away! You won't get that on Amazon!

Follow up to previous review

I finally was able to test out these radios to see if they met my need and expectation. Short answer, yes. I was able to use the radio both as a scanner and also "in pit" (meaning desert) communications between car and crew member. Range was not fantastic but certainly as expected, the scanner function was a bit clumsy but overall worked as I hoped. "Mac Daddy" Kenwood in the chase truck will stay there, but when moving around pits, talking to car during testing, they worked better than I would have expected.

Exceeds Expectations

The price was so good I had to buy a pair, and so far I am surprised with the quality. I wanted small handheld radios for use around the pit area in the desert, and also as a "scanner" to allow the main Kenwood in the chase vehicle to stay on the race channel while the handheld monitored Weatherman and potentially other relevant channels. So far I can't say if this will work, but as a small handheld radio is seems like a fantastic value and works well.

Thanks also to PCI for their usual great service.
