The Pyrotect Sportmax DOT Helmet features mid air for additional clearance in the car. This comfortable helmet can be custom wired with PCI Exclusive Communication components. 

  • PCI Elite Wiring is a black 4 pin connector for Elite and Comlink X intercom systems.
  • PCI Trax wiring is a gray 5 pin connector for Trax stereo intercom systems.
  • PCI Elite Custom Wiring complete with microphone, large, high watt speakers and H2NO water resistant Pigtail.
  • DOT approved. Great for recreational use - not approved for racing.
  • Includes dust skirt
  • Available in Youth Small - Adult 3XL
  • Youth helmet weighs 3lb wired and includes cheek pads to resize helmet from Youth Small to Youth Large as the child grows!

As with all personal safety devices, helmet fit is vitally important and can increase the risk of injury if not properly fit. Carefully measure the head approximately one inch above the eyebrows across a point at the back of the head that gives the largest measurement. Please remember: Helmets will "break in" with use. It is important that the helmet fits as tight as one can comfortably withstand to wear.

Please see the charts below for helmet fitting. If you do not know your hat size, please take a cloth tape measure and measure around the circumference of your head, just above your brow line.

Helmet glamis review

I bought 4 of these helmets. They are very comfortable. They are not so good at keeping sand out of the inside of the helmet though. Also 1 out of the 4 shields became very sandblasted and couldn't see anything out of it. Had to ride with the shield up for the rest of my trip. I suggest buying the cruz armor when buying your helmet. Wish I would have known that from the beginning. Now I have to buy a new shield.

High quality helmets. I ordered mine pre wired and would purchase again. One note is I typically wear a large "moto" helmet, and the XL size of this helmet fits me more comfortably. Also the youth sized helmets are very cool and lite!
