I've used three sets of this hardware, two that I installed my self on helmets that I needed to retrofit, and the latest on a new helmet that I had PCI install for me. The installation is very simple, drill holes and bolt in. You do have to take cheek pads and work underneath the lining and such to bolt in though. I decided to have PCI just do it on my new helmet since they were putting the ear cups and radio pieces in. Seemed silly to take that all apart right after they put it all together, so even though easy enough to do, I had them do it to my new helmet. Function wise they work great. I can put the clips in and out myself with the helmet on. Easy pull on the release string and your free from the brace. The plug in angle is easy to figure out even though you can't see with the helmet on. It just sits in a natural spot and I can plug them in no problem.
