Very nice but they run small

Based on the sizing chart I should wear a large since my head measured 23.25" inches. It came in and was way too small. The only way I could get my head in it was to pull the cheek pads and I had to move the microphone or remove my nose to get it on or off. It fit my wife fine and her head was a full inch smaller than mine and I ordered and XL for me which fits perfect.
